C7 Industrial Engines Disassembly and Assembly – Water Temperature Regulator Housing – Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the coolant from the coolant system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, “Cooling System Coolant – Change”.

2. Loosen clamps (4) and remove hose (3) .

3. Remove bolts (2) .

4. Remove water temperature regulator housing (1) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install water temperature regulator housing (1) .

2. Install hose (3) and tighten clamps (4) to a torque of 7.0 ± 0.5 N·m (62 ± 4 lb in).

3. Install bolts (2) .

4. Fill the coolant system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, “Cooling System Coolant – Change”.
