C7 Industrial Engines Disassembly and Assembly – Vibration Damper and Pulley – Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

1. Remove belt (5). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, “Belts – Inspect/Replace”.

2. Remove bolts (3) and the washers from pulley (2) and crankshaft vibration damper (1). Remove pulley (2) and crankshaft vibration damper (1) from crankshaft pulley (6) .

3. Remove bolts (4). Remove crankshaft pulley (6) .

1. Position crankshaft pulley (6) on the crankshaft. Install bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 160 ± 30 N·m (118 ± 22 lb ft).

2. Position crankshaft vibration damper (1) on crankshaft pulley (6). Position pulley (2) on crankshaft vibration damper (1). Install bolts (3) and the washers.

3. Install belt (5). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, “Belts – Inspect/Replace”.
