Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the rocker arms and the pushrods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, “Rocker Shaft and Pushrod – Remove”.

Disconnect harness assembly (1) from the unit injector.

Remove unit injector (2) by hand, when possible. If necessary, use Tooling (A) to loosen unit injector (2) .
Remove unit injector (2) from the cylinder head.

Remove O-ring seal (3) from unit injector (2) .
