Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the turbocharger.

Note: Refer to Specification UENR0995 "Engine Design" for non-specified engine Torque Values.

1. Remove two locknuts (4) and six bolts (3) .

2. Remove exhaust manifold (1) and the gasket.

3. If necessary, remove studs (2) and (5) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install exhaust manifold (1) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. If necessary, apply Tooling (A) on the threads of studs (5) and (2) .

   2. Apply Tooling (A) on the threads of locknuts (4) and the threads of bolts (3) .
