C3.3B – Fuel Tank – Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the engine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine - Remove".
2. Remove the fuel priming pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Priming Pump and Primary Filter (Water Separator) - Remove and Install".

1. Drain the fuel tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel Tank Water and Sediment - Drain" for the proper procedure.

2. Remove battery (1) and battery mounting plate (2) .

3. Remove fuel priming pump (4) and fuel water separator (3) .

4. Remove coolant tank (5) .

5. Disconnect harness assembly (6). Remove bracket (7) repeat for opposite side. Remove fuel tank (8) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install fuel tank (8) in the reverse order of removal.
