C3.3B – Fuel Filter and Water Separator – Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

1. Turn the fuel supply to the OFF position.

2. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System Primary Filter (Water Separator) - Drain".

3. Disconnect harness assembly (1) .

4. Disconnect hoses (2). Remove bolts (3). Remove fuel filter assembly (4) .

5. Mark the position of sensor assembly (5) for installation purposes. Remove sensor assembly (5), fuel bowl (6), O-ring seal (7), gasket (8), filter element (9), and O-ring seal (10) from filter base (11) .

6. Remove check valve (12) and O-ring seal (13) from filter base (11) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install fuel filter assembly (4) in the reverse order of removal.
