Use the knob (engine speed control) (1) to set the engine speed. Use the engine speed control when you want to set a constant engine speed. Move the knob (engine speed control) clockwise to increase engine speed. Move the knob (engine speed control) counter clockwise to decrease engine speed.
When the knob is in the full clockwise position, the pedal (engine speed control) (2) becomes a deceleration pedal to lower engine RPM. The pedal will temporarily override the engine speed set point.
The deceleration function will not lower the RPM to low idle. Do not use this function as a braking function.
Push down on the pedal (engine speed control) (2) in order to increase engine speed. Release the pedal (engine speed control) in order to decrease engine speed. Disengagement of the pedal (engine speed control) (2) will return the engine speed to the setting of the knob (engine speed control (1) .
If the knob (engine speed control) (1) is in the full clockwise position, the pedal (engine speed control) (2) will lower engine RPM.
