259D Compact Track Loader – Electric Starting Motor – Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

1. Disconnect harness assemblies (3) remove bolts (1), and electric starting motor (2) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install electric starting motor (2) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten the nut (Terminal B) for cable assembly (3) to a torque of 10.4 ± 0.6 N·m (92.1 ± 5.3 lb in).
