259D Compact Track Loader – Electric Starting Motor – Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

Note: Refer to Specification UENR0995 "Engine Design" for non-specified engine Torque Values.

1. Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.

2. Disconnect harness assembly (3) from electric starting motor (1) .

3. Remove nut (2) and disconnect the harness assembly from electric starting motor (1) .

4. Remove bolt (4) and (5) . Remove electric starting motor (1) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install electric starting motor (1) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Install nut (2) and tighten to a torque of 10.0 ± 11.0 N·m (7.40 ± 8.11 lb ft).
